2. Compared with the sealing with rubber plate, the argon consumption is relatively large (12-15L/min) when using foam sponge to seal, and the sealing material needs to be replaced frequently, which is difficult to meet the argon flushing of the elbow weld.
Solutions:
1. Install a stainless steel corrugated hose at 1/3 of the inflation tube, install a guiding mechanism at the front end of the argon charging device, and rigidly connect with the front end sealing sheet. When the guide mechanism of the argon filling device advances along the curvature of the elbow, the vertical centerline of the front end sealing piece achieves a good sealing**, and the stainless steel hose bends and drives the front end sealing piece to the designed sealing position.
2. Install an anti-dropping soft connection mechanism in the inflation tube. When the stainless steel corrugated hose falls off, the front-end guide mechanism and the sealing sheet can be taken out through the soft connection mechanism.
3. Paste the masking paper outside the weld. During the welding process, the masking paper burns about 10mm before the arc, which greatly reduces the argon consumption and further improves the welding quality.
